U.S. Students Studying Indonesian Enthusiast

Since Sunday ( 17/6 ) , as many as 29 students from the United States studying Indonesian for two months at the State University of Malang . They are students choice of Critical Language Scholarship program organized by the U.S. Government . CLS is a scholarship program of the Government of the United States to fund language learning are considered critical .
      The United States considers Indonesia has many residents , but U.S. citizens who can speak Indonesian only slightly . Therefore, the Indonesian is considered critical and was organized Critical Language Scholarship ( CLS ) is . The purpose of the CLS makes students participating in this program are well able to speak Indonesian . Those selected participate CLS programs ranging from undergraduate students ( S - 1 ) to graduate ( S - 3 ) ​​.
    BIPA program is one of the science concentration Indonesian Literature Department that focus to accommodate foreign students studying Indonesian .

     Each student is guided CLS two tutors who are students of UM . There is a special selection by the BIPA to obtain a qualified tutor .
     The tutor should give examples of pronunciation spelling b , p , d , t , k , g , and r . Letters are the most difficult to pronounce CLS participants who are new to Indonesian .
     CLS participants from a number of U.S. universities that seem keen to learn Indonesian . From the U.S. there are approximately 160 students who participate in the selection of this program , but only 29 people selected .
    CLS participants learn the reason Indonesian variety . Among them are those who want to study in the Indonesian economy , examining unity and religious pluralism in our country , as well as others interested in researching Muslim in Indonesia . For this purpose they have to learn Indonesian in order to recognize and communicate with the speakers .     Foreigners just excited to learn Indonesian , but sometimes we as citizens of Indonesia itself like lazy to learn the language Indonesia.Seharusnya we should be excited to learn Indonesian rather than foreigners , because we are Indonesian citizens who should be our own love language .
